“I’m overwhelmed and humbled at how many women this resonated with and see me as a inspiration. There are plenty of more inspiring women out there, I just chose to be open and share my journey and experience. When I returned to training postpartum it was first as a woman who gave birth, not an athlete. I let myself heal so there was no more bleeding, pain, my uterus shrunk, etc. Once I felt recovered, I began subtle core exercises engaging the deep ab muscles. I did weeks of this until I teamed up with my sports chiro doctors and then we began to work on my core from a pain and symptomatic standpoint. ” – HOKA Athlete Stephanie Rothstein Bruce in response to her interview with People Magazine.
