Running as a form of meditation
Posted on January 14 2017
“I run to listen. Running allows me to listen to my body on a daily basis as I stay attuned to the physical fluctuations of everyday. Running allows me to listen to the nature surrounding me as I do not run with music. Running allows me to listen to my thoughts as I sort through my mental processes. Running allows me to listen to my spirit, that dream of racing and continuous improvement. Running allows me to listen to my breath, providing me with a moving meditation that centers my body, mind, and spirit.”- HOKA fan Julia Hanlon
