Sense of confidence

“Running is what makes me feel most alive. Balancing a full-time job, getting married and having young children can definitely put a damper on finding time to run and being able to make it a priority. The routines of school, homework, work, housework, yard work, soccer games, etc., can definitely take precedence and make going for a run difficult. I had to choose running first thing in the day and be willing to get up very early in the morning before life could get in the way. Running has given me a sense of confidence and the realization that I can conquer anything if I put my mind to it. If you would have told me as a teenager I’d someday run 100 miles through the mountains in one day, I’d have told you that you were crazy. Running has brought me some of my very best friends and kept a closeness with my sister. There are just things that can be said in the woods in the dark that can’t be said over coffee. I can’t imagine my life without running.” – HOKA fan Trapper Pressler
